Day 311: Precipitation to Return to the Plains
Not much time to post tonight, so I thought I would highlight what will most likely be the topic of conversation for the upcoming week. After a prolonged dry spell, it appears that substantial precipitation will return to the Plains later this week. Above is the Hydrometeorological Prediction Center’s (HPC) 5-day precipitation forecast. This will be welcome relief for many!
PS…There is also a chance that some places in the Plains might see their first snowflakes of winter! It isn’t a sure thing, and doesn’t appear to be anything significant, but some wet snowflakes might mix in with the rain across portions of the High Plains!
